Your website seems to have a number of different "Proto Armour" cases, but it looks like the description for each version has been "cut'n'paste" which makes it very difficult to tell what the differences between the different versions are? :? :(

No doubt our site can do a better job with that, and more...

Proto Armour for Raspberry Pi B+ is an enclosure kit for the Raspberry Pi Model B+.

Proto Armour for Raspberry Pi is an enclosure kit for the Raspberry Pi Models B (v1 + v2) and A.

Proto Armour for Raspberry Pi and Camera is an enclosure kit for the Raspberry Pi Models B (v1 + v2) and A, and RPi Camera Module.

Proto Armour Tinker Edition is a case the same size as the others (for stacking purposes) that accommodates your own electronics, and flat ribbon connections.

Proto Armour Universal Edition is a case the same size as the others (for stacking purposes) that accommodates your own electronics, but has no cutouts for connectors - you need to make your own.

I hope this helps while we continue to improve our site material. Thanks for looking and providing some feedback.

No, there's no provision for mounting a camera module in this particular version. Like our original line of cases (for models A and B), there will be a separate version for the camera. That's coming soon.

Your case looks very nice and I wish you nothing but the best with your project!

Please understand with the recent introduction of the RPi Model B+, many case vendors like us are updating their designs for compatibility with the B+. We sincerely hope you do well and don't mean to derail your efforts. It's not easy doing this stuff and you seem to have something nice to offer - kudos to you!

Hi,
are there any news on the Proto Armour with the C/CS mount which is mentioned here: http://www.mobileappsystems.com/blog/ca ... ule-part-1

This looks exactly like what I am looking for. My project moves forward slowly, so I can wait for a few months, but it would be nice to know if you have plans to put it to market or if it will stay a prototype ;)

We've been spending a good deal of time on this to get it just right. The CS lens standard is 12.52mm. The current design provides this 12.52mm distance of separation along with a +/- 0.254mm adjustment by way of four screws on the lens adapter. Testing and refinement is focused (no pun) in this area.

With all that being said, we have many prototypes in the field and are close to finalizing the kit. The only remaining concern is pricing, which hasn't been finalized. This isn't a high volume part, but is made with high-volume equipment. Fortunately the owner has a soft-spot for photography ;)
