Just a note on the RCA Video I have a board with the connector twisted and I have seen another user post the same issue.

Can you over size the hole a bit so I don't have to push too hard on the connector on the board afraid I might break it off. I don't see an over sized hole being a big deal it also makes it so the connector can go on better if it is a little off.

Two other things I noticed both on the network connection. Once you plug a cable in it would be a pain to get it out. Next heat on the RJ-45 connector would be an issue.

Also it's just a modified version of this http://www.polycase.com/ag-43#

So if your into a DIY project get the unaltered case and start cutting holes.

I still want one though maybe paint some flames and a raspberry on it.

Ridiculous shipping costs... I would love to buy this case but not if I have to pay more for shipping than the actual case costs!

I'd get a few of them but do not want the basic black. I want a clear case to show off the slice of Pi inside! Orange would be nice, anything other than another black case.

I live here in Cincinnati, OH.... so shipping is of literally no concern.

Was going to buy this case... but kind of worried about cooling? I only see a rear vent by the SD card? The lid looks high enough to use a heatsink kit for the pi's cpu/mem.. but still, would air circulation be a worry on this?

I know the piholder has a neoprene & thermal paste application for case pillars... just trying to figure out how much heat is actually produced on the pi, and if there's really any concern?

@ beavermatic ...The official word from the raspberry pi foundation is "You do not need any cooling under normal operation." There is quite a bit of ventilation available to alleviate concerns of heat accumulating in the case.

And should the pi catch fire, the case has a UL94-5VA flame rating.

I purchased this case last week and received it the very next day (course I live in Ohio as well, manufacturer is a couple hours north I believe, so shipping is no wait from within state).

Very impressive, and very rugged. Has a ventilation slot over by SD card (unlike some of the rugged/tough cases which do not), and the slightly raised lid even allows you to use heatsink kit for mem/cpu if you so desire (heatsink doesn't hit the lid ceiling). Everything lined up as it should.

The external LED options are nice, and it really makes for a polished ABS "Toughbook" style case for your pi. Definitely worth the $15 :)

I bought one of these cases and had it shipped to the U.K. from the USA. Yes, it costs a small fortune for shipping to Europe but when it looks as good as this who cares? :D

This has to be my favourite Raspberry Pi case EVER! If you think I'm biased and attempting to invoke favoritism, you're right! I love this case more than any other and I freely admit it! :p

It's strong and rugged design is very apparent when you handle it. A Raspberry Pi fits into it as snug as it ever should do. It's appearance is something which wouldn't look out of place on Darth Vader's coffee table... and when you look at it you are instantly aware it's something special and unique... and it's TOTALLY COOL! You could not seriously ask for more.

If you want to outshine all your contemporaries, and give your Raspberry Pi (and yourself) one hell of an ego boost, I highly recommend one of these cases. Forget the cost. Cost is immaterial when you're getting quality of this calibre.

It really does look lovely but they would sell more units if they brought the shipping costs to a reasonable level. Very strange to restrict your sales like that.
