New Pi Case!

Sun Aug 05, 2012 1:58 pm

Hi guys. Good news. We have just finished the laser cut box for Raspberry Pi. The price is EUR9.79 exclusive of VAT plus postage. Here are some pictures. It is very easy to assemble (every layer is marked) and can come in various colours. Can be branded as per request!

Send the orders to info@tesla.co.za
Payments can be made via PayPal.

:) Could be.. Not sure..might b that they are first..i checked it now but not sure if it is the same way.. Took us a while to design it this way and to have enough place for free air cooling..
Not sure either which one is better as i dont have one of those. This one works very well and we are still testing them as we speak.. :)

Thanks..

We have tried to keep them open. It will depend on the size of the plug...but it can be adjusted.. :)

I would like to see it in a little more detail and to know that my card details are safe extra... May I suggest you start selling on eBay or Amazon rather than through email... Sad to say that you lost a customer there :( :( :(

That is why we dont accept cards.. We only take orders via email and PayPal as a payment method.. eBay and Amazon could be a solution but it seems that it looks more like advert for them. ;)

Will keep you informed if we decide to go that route...

Looks nice but I can't understand why so many case manufacturers want to cover up the Raspberry Pi so you can't really appreciate the fantastic way it's put together. The Raspberry Pi was born to help students appreciate computer technology so I think cases should be as transparent as possible. Nice try though!

Hi Phoenix.. I agree with you but for the purpose of using it in "real" life, e.g. using as a media player, must be attached to the TV or something else and cant be open. We have just made "funky" case. Please look at the pic.

Looks great. Any word on a plain clear model instead of a green one?

Are you going to make a site or shop for these?

Yes, you can get clear one too..i will have pictures soon available. We are busy preparing the online shop but we can still take orders and payments can be done via PayPal. We just need to know where to ship so we can confirm those costs.

Hi there,

It is not VESA mount standard but it can be made to the smallest one which is 75mm.
