the adafruit case has one as well but i think that's it for the cases that have sides

Well, whenever I've looked at an RPi case, I've always thought there was something wrong (price, build quality, accessibility etc etc)... and I sit here thinking, it's ok, I'll be making my custom case as soon as my RPis arrive...

BUT, this is the first case I am absolutely happy with :) It looks fantastic, sturdy and the price is right too.

Think I'll be ordering at least one.

how does this case get rid of the heat build up from the 9512 chip .? it looks like each level is closed around the components so no heat disapation . under load. any feed back on weather this will melt / distort with heating.
one armed controls engineer, my grammar is bad but lets face it most keyboards don't suit a one armed man

Our current prototype includes a cut out Raspberry Pi logo for venting at the top, and also adds more venting in the base.

Hi pibow,

nice to see you here. Two days ago I ordered one on etsy.com. I haven't read something about that it is a preorder. Please, can you tell me how long I have to wait?
Thanks.

You'll definitely be in the very first batch, and we're planning to do a small special etch on the bottom of the first batch of cases. Something that will be unique to them and never done again :)

Hope you love it when it arrives!

I'm so excited. Please, don't make the waiting harder with such promises ;)
The case is so cute, it was love at first sight. I gave up all hope to find a case that I want to buy and then I saw it. My only thought was: I must own it :D

Thanks. We wanted it to reflect the product pretty closely :-)

The big squares make it mobile friendly too. That was just luck :D

I’m going to start putting reviews of cases up on my website (www.recantha.co.uk). I’m currently writing my IP Adelt one. If anyone would like to share a review of this, or any other case, please let me know ([email protected]). All authors will be credited, obviously.

If it gets the Liz seal of approval, I'm having one :) Pre-ordered.

However that Iceburg Lettuce one looks awesome. Maybe for pi #2...

Hi

I too like the idea but would also prefer a single colour.

Cheers

Yeah, this design seems perfect for my intentions, however I find the colour slightly distracting. It's great and I understand that it's part of the name, but it's just not for everyone.

Personally I'd prefer a fully clear 'enthusiast' variant of this design. I'm sure any colour variants will be easy once you perfect your design. I'll be sure to order if anything like this happens. Subscribed for updates & bookmarked your site.

So does the Axiris case. It actually comes with two side panels. One with a ribbon slot cable and one without. I have the Adafruit case too.
