How to open terminal then run a python program on startup?

Hello! How do I run the terminal on startup then run

sudo python /home/pi/Desktop/final/project.py

My project needs to be headless, and I've searched for other how-tos but I can't seem to use my numeric keypad (maybe because program is not run on terminal?)

What I wanted to happen is as soon as the pi boots, the terminal will open then run the program.
