hello, i need some help and advice,
i am using a headless pi as a bitcoin trader. I use VNC to check up on it. it runs nice and stable.
first my specs
its a raspi model B (not a B+) its a unmodded pi.
its overclocked, using turbo mode.
im powering it by leaching off my miners PSU (its connected to the molex +5 and ground) its working well (the psu is a corsair 80+ Gold rated model RM1000)
its using a 8 or 16 GB class 10/U1 micro SD Card
my sd card is connected using the following ebay item - http://www.ebay.com/itm/151474712608
its connected to Ethernet and power only
its using Raspbian
my trader requires java 8 so i installed oracle java 8
first some help.
when i compile a package where is the package put, im writting a guide to get the software im using and it requires java 8 so im using oracle java 8. and i want to include compiled the .deb
next some advice
often im offsite visiting family. and cant check on the trader at those times.
at home i use VNC to check and make changes, plus im used to team viewer fo supporting my family remotly. however teamviewer is not available fot raspi. so im looking for a raspi alternative to teamviewer.
now some more help
if there is no alternative to to team viewer on the raspi, then i need help getting VNC to auto start.
i have a init.d file created according to this document http://elinux.org/RPi_VNC_Server#Run_at_boot
however i still need to SSH into the pi and run VNC via the ssh terminal.
and finally a suggeation
i use remina on my linux install,
however im looking for a remina alternative on windows.
needed protocols are ssh, VNC and FTP. my windows install is windows 7 pro.
for vnc im currently using mRemoteNG in my windows install. however ftp is basic and ssh in buried in menus
for VNC im currently using mRemoteNG
for FTP i use filezilla or bitvise
for SSH i use bitvise
