Hi guys,
I've been using a Raspberry Pi as an NTP server very successfully.
I am now working on a mk2 version by adding the Piface shim RTC module.
I have the module working which is keeping the clock accurate as expected.
My problem is how to add it into the NTP pool in order that the Pi broadcasts the NTP reference using the RTC module
in the absence of an internet connection.
What I would like is for the Pi to always broadcast the RTC time and to keep itself sync'd as and when it is able to retrieve it's own NTP reference from the internet.
Internet access is provided via a wifi dongle and NTP is broadcast over it's on board lan.
I am very much a beginner.
