wifi not working on n00bs?

never mind..
VERY long story short.
i GZ the firmwarew directory on wheezy.
coppied it to boot.
copied the GZ back to n00bs, unpacked it in firmware directory and my wifi is working now...
why?
not the aprouch we want, but it worked.....
