Pi Camera module stopped working

Been learning linux on the pi for a couple of months now. Had pi camera module working with motion and bash commands. After recent sudo apt-get update, upgrade and rpi-update came is no longer working at all. Raspistill hangs, pi view won't work and motion pie doesn't recognize camera either. Anyone else notice this or do you think my camera just died or something?

Problem solved-information posted her for other NOOBS. There is a small brown board on the pi camera module that says "sunny". This was ever so slightly lifted up and caused the problem. Pressed it back down and camera works fine again. I did hear a slight snap as it clicked into place. This issue has been previously referenced here:
