Hi Raspberry users
I am new to Raspberry Pi as well to Raspbian and very excited to build projects from it. I have two question my first one is has anyone use cups to install a printer for example (pantum p2000) and if so what can you do if its not on the list. Second I found an rpm folder on the manufacturer website how do I install it on Raspbian or cups?

Re: Raspberry Pi B + vs pantum p2000 printer
The RPM is possibly only suitable for computers with a x86 processor. If so it won't work on a RPi (which has an ARM processor).
Also RPM packages are used by Red Hat Linux and Fedora. Raspbian uses the Debian package method. Files usually have .deb extension but again may be x86 only.

Is there a way to install the Pantum P2500 on a Raspberry PiB+?, We are developing a project with that printer.

I am searching a printer driver for Raspberry pi 3 for the PANTUM2500W printer.

The manufacturer only provide drivers for Linux running on x86 CPU Architecture..
...the Raspberry Pi is ARM CPU Architecture !
The information is out there....you just have to let it in.
