You can't 'simply' plug the keyboard and mouse into the RPi and have the display magically appear on the Mac monitor.
If the monitor for the Mac is a separate unit with a standard HDMI input it can probably be connected to the RPi instead.
Similarly if the keyboard and mouse have standard usb connections you can probably re-use them with the RPi.
What you CAN do quite simply is connect both the RPi and the Mac to a shared local area network and remotely access the RPi from an application window on the Mac. In that case you don't need to disturb the existing connections to the Mac.
