using Tkinter

Fri Oct 31, 2014 4:47 pm

Hi,

I am using raspberry pi for the first time in my life! I have to get a GUI setup using tkinter which will allow me to see a live video feed of the picamera on the top of the gui. There will be a small space left in the bottom which will have to incorporate data readings like speed, cadence and power etc. Is there anyone who could provide me with a code for the same?

Cheers,
Abhay

Perhaps the best Tkinter documentation online is
http://infohost.nmt.edu/tcc/help/pubs/t ... index.html
Minimal Kiosk Browser (kweb)
Slim, fast webkit browser with support for audio+video+playlists+youtube+pdf+download
Optional fullscreen kiosk mode and command interface for embedded applications
Includes omxplayerGUI, an X front end for omxplayer
