Bridge eth0 and wlan0

Sun Sep 28, 2014 8:43 pm

Hi!

So now that kali has release his version for raspberry i've been able to install it on my pi!

But now.. Already another problem! I know there have been a lot of post about it but I didn't found a solution...

So here is the thing :

I've got my raspberry connecting to a random wifi (so it's an IP adress like 192.168.0.XX or 192.168.1.XX not always the same if I'm at my place or my Gf place) and I've got my pineapple connected to the ethernet port (172.16.42.2 for raspberry set as a fix IP and 172.16.42.1 for the pineapple)

I want the raspberryto give internet access to my pineapple but I didn't succeed to forward connection between those two interfaces (eth0 and wlan0)

I tried with bridge-utils... but most of the times it cut of my connection on eth0...

If anyone have some help :D

Try this:

http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewt ... ng#p507035

I think that will work - if not, the thread title is "nat on eth0". In that thread, I give a long description of how to setup iptables to connect wlan0 to eth0.
And some folks need to stop being fanboys and see the forest behind the trees.

(One of the best lines I've seen on this board lately)
