Need some help with my project

For my first project I have decided to make a portable raspberry pi computer. I have done a lot of research and before I buy anything I want to make sure what I'm doing is right.

So I am going to get a raspberry pi B+ and I was thinking about this screen: http://www.amazon.com/3-5-Inch-TFT-Moni ... uctDetails

For portable power I had some trouble finding something but I have come across this: http://www.amazon.com/EZOPower-High-cap ... 9v+battery It has a 5v and a 9v/12v output. I know the raspberry pi needs 5 volts and the screen needs at least 6 or 7 volts. Would this work if I say, connected the screens power cables to a cord to plug into the 9v/12v socket in the battery and then used a usb cable to plug the Pi into the 5v socket? I think that should work but I just want to make sure because I have never worked with stuff like this so I'm a complete noob.

Hi,

It looks like this will work. The power supply is delivering the right voltages. Only experience will tell how many hours this will work though.

Note that 3,5 inch composite is not very convenient to look at. It is fine for video but may be a bit unsharp for computer output.

A B+ can deliver composite output, but make sure you have read the sticky topic on that.

Ok thanks maybe I'll find a bigger screen then. I hope the battery lasts for a decent amount of time.
