Need some help with my project

For my first project I have decided to make a portable raspberry pi computer. I have done a lot of research and before I buy anything I want to make sure what I'm doing is right.
So I am going to get a raspberry pi B+ and I was thinking about this screen: http://www.amazon.com/3-5-Inch-TFT-Moni ... uctDetails
For portable power I had some trouble finding something but I have come across this: http://www.amazon.com/EZOPower-High-cap ... 9v+battery It has a 5v and a 9v/12v output. I know the raspberry pi needs 5 volts and the screen needs at least 6 or 7 volts. Would this work if I say, connected the screens power cables to a cord to plug into the 9v/12v socket in the battery and then used a usb cable to plug the Pi into the 5v socket? I think that should work but I just want to make sure because I have never worked with stuff like this so I'm a complete noob.
