Can't get picture on TFT screen

Sun Aug 03, 2014 8:17 pm

I'm trying to hook my Raspberry Pi up to an LCD TFT analogue screen and I get a big "No Signal" sign. I cant do anything with the SD card because I cant get the thing to function. I have a power supply and it seems to connect well but there is no response when the Pi is plugged into the screen.
Please help I'm at my wits end, I thought I could get this working without a HDMI output

Did you install Noobs or a direct install of one of the distros. Which distro?

composite or HDMI?

Probably composite I'm guessing.

if composite, and using NOOBS repeatedly press 3 to switch to composite, otherwise only a HDMI signal will be generated.

when booting raspbian, switching to composite will be automatic, unless a HDMI device is detected.

Outputting HDMI and composite at the same time is not possible.

also, read the start guide: http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewt ... =91&t=4751

and if you suspect the pi doesn't boot, the boot sticky http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewt ... 28&t=58151
