...exactly - this is not what the OP is asking for. He wants to be able to use an existing Debian image and then install Xbox, but still keep the Debian OS.graemewham wrote:http://download.raspbmc.com/downloads/b ... ing.img.gz

It appears it's not yet availableDrew wrote:'apt-get' may find a suitable installer.
sudo apt-get install xbmc
in the LX Terminal application (under accessories IIRC).
I have no idea if there is a currently available version in the repositories that it uses but it will ask you to confirm if it can find one.
[email protected] ~ $ sudo apt-get install xbmc

The easiest way is buy another SD card & use that with Raspbmc (or OpenElec), however if you have more time than money it is possible to take a copy of the current SD card. You basically use 'dd' to copy the entire card. Then you can install Raspbmc, set it up and then take a copy of that with dd too.whippy wrote:Hi I am also having the same dependancy issue trying to install xbmc on existing wheezy image. would be a real pain to have to use xbmc one and setup my image from scratch. There must be an easier way.
