Where Do I Start?

I've had a RPi for about a month now but I don't know what to do with it. I know basic Python 2.7, and a couple other programming languages. I just don't know how or what to do with my pi. Any help will be appreciated.

Why did you buy it? Didn't you have some idea of what you wanted to do with it?
If you do decide what you want to do, an internet search is very likely to find you lots of helpful info.
If you really don't know what to do with it, I'll let you know my address so you can pop it in the post to me.

have a look in the
Projects section and see if anything takes your fancy.
Some concepts I like:
brains for a robot / Wifi controlled vehicle (I am currently building one of these, in a dalek shell).
BeetBox (root vegetable drum kit).
Retro Games emulator (built to whatever scale desired, from portable to arcade cabinet)
Home automation (from garage door opener that recognizes your numberplate to lighting and heating control)

I have used mine to host websites, host my own Wordpress blog, set up a webcam with motion detection, host an Owncloud installation.
For example, you could install Owncloud and get yourself a secure, confidential place to upload/download files from anywhere on the internet, runs fairly slowly but is useable.

I will admit that the first Pi I bought was--technically--just to play around with and to test to see if it could be made to work for a couple of uses I had in mind when first reading about the Pi.
That Pi is still up and running in the shelf unit full of computers next to my desk.
My second Pi became an alarm clock (cron plus speakers, streaming KDFC using mplayer).
The next several get used as data input stations for convention registration at a table top gaming convention (DunDraCon).
One of the recent ones is set up for my 6-year-old grandson to play with. (He's rather fond of TuxPaint).
The one B+ I have (so far) will, for now at least, be set up to be used as a demo machine a the "local" Jam.
All rather mundane uses, I'm afraid, but I have Pis of all major revisions except the 256MB Rev. 2.0.
