I'm comparatively new to Rpi and I am currently developing a Qt app for a product based on Rpi. I was wondering out of all the distros available for Rpi, which one is suitable for running a Qt app.

Raspbian is probably the most sensible although any Linux distribution will work.

Depends on version of QT you are working with

Raspbian Wheezy in repositories QT4
Raspbian Jessie Testing in repositories QT5
Arch Linux Arm in repositories both QT4 and QT5
