The only reason to use a heatsink is in a contrived situation where you wish to override the safeguards on the Pi and run a particularly resource intensive benchmarking program or game which would other wise run too slow.

My advice to those people is to get a faster machine. A pony isn't a racehorse, no matter how many oats you feed it :lol:

They are like adding flames to your car. They make it "cooler". XD
