I am new with using Raspberry Pi and I don't know programming much. I configured the unit to use XBMC, but it wouldnt work with the wireless option. I got the complete kit (canakit) with the wireless dongle and used the wi fi manager to set it up. When I click "status" it says "connecting" and nothing else happens. When I reboot the status shows "disconnection" the blue LED on the wireless dongle is dead but turns on only when I shut Raspberry down. I entered the correct password, I changed the option in the system from cable to wireless to not avail. There are some other internet connection options on the raspberry set up menu that I do not recognize. In short I need help.
