Autostart Conky with OpenBox

Fri Jun 01, 2012 8:58 pm

Hi Raspberry-Pi-Users,

I got my Pi yesterday and wanted to do some basic configuration, like starting conky with starting open box. I tried at /home/pi/.config/openbox/autostart.sh (with chmod +x):

Code: Select all

(sleep 15 && conky -c /home/pi/.conky
my ~/.conky:

Code: Select all

If i execute the autostart.sh manually, everthing works fine, but not if I try to autostart it.

'cause can't edit my own post. The autostart.sh is of course:

Code: Select all

    (sleep 15 && conky -c /home/pi/.conky) &
And no: I don't have conky running as a task in background, after startx, neither on top of all windows, or under all windows (like it should) - it's not starting at all
