Wed Mar 19, 2014 7:38 am

Hi all, I'm waiting the arrive of my raspberry pi B and I'm preparing all the necessary to use it. My question is, is good for it a power pack whit 5.1 V and 2.0 A?
Thank you for the answers.

That is fine. 5.1v is within the 5% fluctuation range allowed. The 2amp is more then enough for the Pi itself (Only needs about 700mA) but will come in handy if you want to use things like a wi-fi dongle and external storage.

Thank you for your answer.
I want to add that I measured the output voltage with the voltmeter and this is from 5,25 to 5,30 Volt. Is it safe? I don't want to break my first Raspberry!
