Hi,
do you mean how can you copy a file (a .py file) from your computer (PC) to the pi while the pi is running?
(not just putting the SD card into a card reader attached to the PC)
I copy files from my PC to the pi using ftp (i.e. ftp server on the pi and filezilla on the PC)
Regards,.

You can access your pi's files with SSH, using WinSCP on your PC.

Hi,
I find networking my Pi's and using Samba the easiest method of transfering files too/from my Windows machines.
