Pairing my Bluetooth Keyboard/touchpad

If it works, do you have an objections for it being included in a future edition of the magpi (planned a series of articles where such guides will be welcomed), as I feel getting a bluetooth keyboard running would help a lot of users.

trying to get the keysonic 540bt to work with a belkin f8t008 but just cant seem to get them to pair.

has anyone had any success with these? and if so do both the mouse and keyboard work?

Just an update on my issues with the keyboard...

I had the :

Keysonic ACK 540 BT UK layout keyboard
Belkin F8T008 Bluetooth USB Dongle

The belkin dongle would connect to the computer fine and could search for and find available devices fine. When it came to pairing the device to the bluetooth dongle this would not work.

I since bought the dongle recommended in an earlier post from ebay:

Livewire H-28236 Bluetooth USB Dongle

This worked perfectly and I am now successfully running my bluetooth keyboard. I have set the dongle to auto accept connections from the keyboard so even if the keyboard goes to sleep you can just tap a key on the keyboard and it will connect again automatically very quickly.

A perfect result as I only had to buy one £4 dongle to get this to work as I already owned the keypad...pretty chuffed at that!

I also got a RII rt-mwk02+
I just spent an hour trying to figure out why my dongle was not working at boot time.

After re-inserting the dongle, everything was working.. but I wanted to make it work anytime.

In fact when just rebooting the raspberry pi, the dongle fails to work after reboot.

However, power cycling does the trick.

Hi I know this post is years old now but I have bought th same rt-mwk02 model and am on a pi 3 with most up to date Jessie installed and I went to the install software on the gui download bluez support stack and after that it automatically paired without having to worry or connect manually .
