Raspberry Pi Forums

Hi, well first off im a newbie to the world of Pi and python and im struggling to work out how to do a certain thing so thought i'd ask for a bit of help on here .

Basically what I want to do as the first step to something else is make a tkinter window and have it show the preview from my picamera until I close the window.

ive tried a couple of things and seached this forum and google'd but cant get it to work, like I said im pretty new to all this so any help would be appreciated .
