RCA

Wed Jan 01, 2014 1:38 pm

Hello, this is my first Raspberry Pi project and I am planning to build a portable computer. The only problem I can see is wiring the screen to the RCA connector. When you desolder the RCA connector there are three contacts for soldering. The screen is composite and has two terminals for signal. I would just like to know where to solder the wires.
Thank you, Lewis (13).

Look at the schematic, two (signal) pins are connected together, unless something is plugged in. the other one is the GND signal.

I suggest using a multimeter to identify the GND pin, then simply wire the other two together, and use as signal pin.

I thought this may work, but as I mentioned, I am new to the Raspberry Pi, so thank you very much for your quick response!
Thank you, Lewis (age 13).
