Wi-fi not being recognized

I have a few different devices connected to home Wi-Fi but Raspberry Pi is not recognizing the network.
In the Wi0fi config when I add the network with the required SSID and PSK - it gives a message saying "Failed to enable network in wpa_supplicant configuration"
What am i doing wrong ?
