How to alter WiFi security in Fedora remix14

Thu May 17, 2012 10:35 pm

Much to my delight Fedora remix 14 auto recognises my WiFi dongle (Hawking uses Realtek 8192U), however my problem is that my security settings on the router uses a 64 bit WEP key and the Fedora tool only works with 40 and 128 bit keys. How do I get around this?

I don't want to change my router key as I have other devices already setup.

The SSID is recognised and I have no problem seeing connections available and I've set the key index number correctly, I just am unable to connect.
