So,

chuffed to bits to get my Pi through this morning. Had already uploaded the SD card and sorted out all the leads and bits ready for the new arrival....

sadly it will only boot to the point where I get :

"Kernal panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt"

I have tried two different PSUs, one is a new HTC One X one.

I have also tried 3 different SD cards, 1 4 gig Class 2, ane 4 Gig class 4 and a 16 gig class 6. Still no luck.

So I took a photo and thought I would seek advice. Grateful for any observations or advice.

Someone out there may recognise what's on the screen, but if you could post a pic of earlier in the process (I know, it will be difficult to get the timing right) before it starts mentioning :

Functions entered

Exception stack etc

Even if you give it a quick eye-ball and see what are some of the meaningful outputs before it starts repeating it has issues. Might point to what is the last healthy bit of hardware before it freaks out/panics.

Also, visually inspect the board carefully. If a component looks dodgy post a photo (unless you know it's definitely not right), and also boot with nothing but power and TV plugged in.

Thanks for that,

it turned out to be the keyboard taking it down. A new cheap one by Cit Model KB-1807UB.

Quite glad I did not have to try and read the boot messages flying by!

Thanks again from a verry chuffed Gruff
