Is there a way to check the IP arch has within arch? I used the bt home hub (v2.0a if it helps), and it reported the IP stayed the same.
I use ifconfig on debian - not sure if it's the same for Arch?

It would probably be easiest to set a static IP just to make sure it doesn't change.
Also:
- Correct IP?
- Correct port?
- Correct protocol? (relevant for non-terminal access)

ifconfig
To make static, edit /etc/rc.conf example there, and comment out dynamic entry

Solved - using debian instead (seems more appropriate for a web server...)

I disagree. I got 2 arch arm doing this, and much more.
