Mac users

Sat Mar 16, 2013 8:30 am

Hi Everyone. Very new Pi user and I will need some advice along the way (if you wouldn't mind). I use a Mac and wonder if there is anything special I need to do regarding initial set up and programming. I'm knocking on a bit so if you could keep the Tech Speak to a minimum I would appreciate it, thanks in advance. :D

I will always assume you are running Raspbian for desktop and Raspbmc for XMBC !

Apple OS X and Linux do not need ant-virus software that is a Windozy pre-requisite....

These may be of help http://elinux.org/RPi_Tutorials

Hi I have written a blog which outlines how to set up your SD card on a mac. There are a few other useful blog posts on there explaining how to get started.
