blue tooth dongle paired with keyboard but not connecting

Mon Mar 04, 2013 9:39 pm

I have been following tutorials on installing bluetooth tools on the terminal, that helped me pair a blue tooth dongle to a wireless keyboard, I managed to get the Pi to pair and trust the keyboard, just when I test to see why it wont work, it doesn't connect.

Is it a powered hub problem? after all the pi does detect the dongle and the keyboard when I scan, it remembers that the device is connected because I cant re-pair it, it says device already exists, just it doesnt work when its supposed to be connected, and when i type hcitools con, nothing shows so i cant do any debugging.

Is there a way of telling the keyboard to connect? it only has a button on it that blinks when you want it to be found (its RoHS mini bluetooth keyboard they're everywhere)
