UTF-8

Sun Feb 03, 2013 8:35 pm

Really stupid question from a newbie. I have just powered on my device and was going thru the package configuration. The quickstart instructions indicated that the local must be selected. The setup suggests UTF-8 locals should be chosen by default (great!). The question is which UTF-8? There are about 25 of them. Do I just select all? No one has posted on this from what I can tell which means the answer is incredibly obvious or it doesn't matter...Cheers.

Look in the list for something like en_UK.UTF-8

English UK, as opposed to en-US, and so on

Good info! Thanks. Can you tell me how to select it? I can move the cursor all the way down to the item and can't get it to select. If I press enter it moves into the next screen but the screen has another language selected (en-UK...) which is probably good enough. If I press tab to the next field on the same page it does not select it. Doesn't seem to be any other key options. Is there some magic key combination?

The space bar should toggle the selection.
