Can't play video with omxplayer!

Hi, whenever I type "omxplayer video.mp4", I get the error posted below. This happens on any video, whatever format!

i will use this topic im running raspbian wheezy i installed omxplayer and tried to play video via LXTerminal
i wrote omxplayer /home/pi/a.avi
and i get error
/usr/bin/omxplayer.bin: symbol lookup error: /usr/bin/omxplayer.bin: undefined symbol: vc_tv_get_display_state

That sounds like a mismatch of libraries. Have you done an rpi-update to get all the latest kernel and libraries?

EDIT: Sorry, are you doing this from inside X? Can you try it from the command line before running the desktop (startx).

hey mate thank U for fast reply. i have done rpiupdate one week ago, i have no internet connection at the moment. I tried it without startx and still same error

THANKS s lot mate it was updating issue i went to a friend with connection and i updated firmware and stuff sudo rpi-update. Omxplayer works like a charm.

i see it now in Troubleshooting problem on omxplayer web pages. It wasnt there before 2hours
or maybe my browser did not refresh it
