Changing the function of the x key on my keyboard

is it possible to change the function of the x key on my keyboard connected to my raspberry pi?
it has stopped working and i have realized how useful x's are.
too cheapo to buy a new one =)

I don't think so. Check thrift shops for a replacement. I got a nice one for $4 for my Pi.
