Can i use aux cable for audio output from Raspberry pi 3 or 4?

Hello. Can i use Aux cable for audio out put from raspberry pi 3 or 4 in its 4-pole stereo audio and composite video port ?
I m afraid it might cause short circuit. Will it?

Yes you can use a standard 3 pole Audio Cable in the 4 pole jack:
