RP4b + 7" Monitor + Logitech K380 bluetooth keyboard

My first post.
1. I just assembled a RP4b onto a 7" monitor board into a plastic shell designed for the monitor. it doesn't fit correctly and forcing it would probably crack the plastic. Is there someone in Sydney who is willing to help me?
2. RP4b recognises the K380 keyboard and the keyboard flashes recognising the RP but the pairing never completes. One or the other dropping out. Logitech's helpdesk is useless as they only know Win and Mac.

The answer to both questions came by going back to the distributor and (suspecting) discovering that there were incorrect parts supplied. I now have a 3b which works fine (slower) with the 7" monitor and the Logitech keyboard and the email is also easier to configure.
The 4b is now earmarked for a CCTV system.

What case and 7 inch monitor did you get?
I ask because I have a SmartiPi V2 case for my Pi Foundation 7 inch Touch Screen. It's compatible with a Pi 3 or a Pi 4. The older version 1 case will only work with a Pi 3.

Neither looks like what I have!
There is no bottom plastic stand and plug holes are in different places.

Ok, its not a Smartipi case. There are other similar cases out there. Yours was made for a Pi 3. The Pi 4 has the USB and ethernet swapped around, it won't fit in a lot of the Pi 3 cases. The HDMI and USB cutouts will be different too. You could likely modify it to fit a Pi 4. You'd have to do some cutting drilling though.

As I suspected.
Not a big deal. I purchased a 3b and it fits and works just fine. I have earmarked the 4b for a CCTV system. I HAVE TOO MANY COMPUTERS!!!
While I've got your attention, any idea how to get the on-screen keyboard working?

You have to install one. I do believe its

sudo apt install matchbox-keyboard 

Then launch it from the start menu. There are likely other ways to launch it once its installed, I don't know what they are though.

If I need to download/install it, I'll stay with my bluetooth keyboard which I find preferable.
