Dualboot sad card with grub 2 help

Fri Dec 21, 2012 10:33 pm

I'm a noob.
I am trying to get a sd card to work so that it will give me a grub menu to choose debian or raspbian. I don't have a clue how to use grub or even get started(yes I tried google) and need help. So far I have a sd card with a 6.5 mb partition and 3 other partitions, a blank, a free space for raspbian, and a raspbian kernel and booting stuff.
Please help. I'm not stupid but this seems very difficult.

Grub is for x86 (your typical desktop) systems. Take a look at BerryBoot as an alternative.

http://www.berryterminal.com/doku.php/berryboot should help you, if not search these forums, it's discussed quite a lot.
