Power supply for Raspberry pi 3B+

Sun Sep 01, 2019 7:48 am

Hello,

I have a rpi 3b+ with rasbian buster installed. I'm using orico 5V 3A charger as a power supply. When raspberry is turned on, undervoltage yellow blizzard icon is displayed. Which is the right official PSU for this board? I found that there are a few models of official power supply:

No 1. T5875DV
No 2. T6090DV (same parametres as number 1)
No 3. T6716DV
No 4. T6712DV (same parameters as number 3)

I can definitely vouch for the white one, but if the black one is supplied from a reputable seller then either or, your choice.

The white one (now**) is just the "multi-plug" version of the black one. If you don't travel much (into "other plug-type countries") then just get the black one.
Trev.
** Older white ones (for older pi's) could supply 2A rather than 2.5A. Early black ones were the "first" 2.5A supplies - see here for measurements of such: https://www.cpmspectrepi.uk/raspberry_p ... _Models.29
Still running Raspbian Jessie or Stretch on some older Pi's (an A, B1, 2xB2, B+, P2B, 3xP0, P0W, 2xP3A+, P3B+, P3B, B+, and a A+) but Buster on the P4B's. See: https://www.cpmspectrepi.uk/raspberry_pi/raspiidx.htm
