(HELP ME) Broken IO pin

So pin #2 or the 5v pin on my board snapped will it still work or do I have to replace it thanks in advance.

HI.

So I assume you are talking about the pin on the gpio header, as long as your pi still boots then you can keep using it,
this assumes there is no damage to the PCB, if you want to use the actual pin to connect to then you are probably going to need to replace it.

may be post a picture so we can see how its broken / damage

Pin 4 is directly connected to pin 2. If the board is still working you can use pin 4 for any purpose that needed pin 2.

There duplicate pins for both the 5vdc and the 3vdc source and 4 ground pins. You can also use the command line program pinout to see the pin configuration.
