Help with Pi 1b

Wed Jul 17, 2019 4:17 pm

I have followed the instructions on the help page but my pi won't load. All I see is a solid red light. I am using NOOBS.

Can anyone help?

Try using Balena Etcher to write plain Raspbian to a genuine (not cheap Chinese fake) SDCard.

While Dougie Lawson's advice is sound, it would help if you could provide some details of how you went about your attempt. Things like size and brand of your SD card. Any tests you may have made to be sure it's not a fake. Whether or not you checked the SHA key for your download. In other words, basic due diligence.

in addition to what the two gentlemen posted above...care to inform us how your powering your RPi1B?

what are the specifications written on the device powering your RPi1B?
"Don't come to me with 'issues' for I don't know how to deal with those
Come to me with 'problems' and I'll help you find solutions"

Some people be like:
"Help me! Am drowning! But dont you dare touch me nor come near me!"
