Howto configure a remote network Printer

I have a Samsung SCX-4623FN printer on my LAN.

I can successfully print to it from Command line but as yet I am failing to get the Desktop and its applications to recognise the printer and hence to print to it.

How do you add a networked printer to Raspbian Stretch such that it is recognised by the Desktop and can be used from Libre Office packages?
