Hey there guys!
I am completely new to the Raspberry Pi, and kinda new to Linux. Have tried Ubuntu a couple of times throughout the years and that's about it, never did anything with coding in any kind of Linux.
My idea was to build a digital pictureframe for my 89 year-old grandma. A really basic one to be exact. I searched for a long time on the web but couldn't find anything that came close to what I want.
I want a system that boots up into showing a full screen slideshow of the pictures I put on the internal (Micro) SD-Card. There should be no need for Wi-Fi or any other form of networking since my grandma does not have any form of network connectivity.
The final idea:
A 22 inch pictureframe with a nice wooden case that she can hang up or put down somewhere. One that she can see with her bad eyes and can store a lot of pictures of her daughter, grand sons and recently born great grand son.
Thanks for reading and I hope someone can help me out
Systems at hand:
Raspberry Pi 3B+
Raspberry Pi Zero
Normal Windows computer
