Is it possible to have Acess Point and Wifi at the same time?

I'm trying to use Wifi and AP to make a wireless router, so the idea is let the wifi act as internet access and boradcast with AP

I assume you mean from the built in adapter in Pi?
If you don’t want to waste your time, consider it is not possible.

It is possible using one USB adapter in addition to the built in one.
Some USB adapters will be capable of running in AP+STA mode, it depends on the hardware.

Find an adapter that handles the AP functions as this will give less limits than a dual one. The driver on the Pi is limited - have a read through https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view ... 3&t=241223

That would invalidate the Pi's UK, EU and USA approvals. It can result in unfriendly visits from the men in black.
EDIT: Sorry, socketed aerial on an external adapter (if designed that way) is OK. It is modification of the Pi that causes approval issues.

If adapter is connected via USB and has an option of an external antenna then as long as the antenna is approved for that device then it (and the Pi) will remain legal.

Modification of the Pi results in an illegal device (and the thread locked normally).

You do have to be careful that the antenna are matched as that causes both interference and illegal operating conditions - no buying from eBay or Amazon - go to a retailer who can advise you. Or buy a real AP

Correct. My statement was based on NOT noticing that the post I quoted was not from the same poster as the OP. Will edit my post.
