Raspberry Pi 3 B+ doesn't boot : colors screen then code then nothing

Thu May 23, 2019 2:33 pm

Hi everybody,

I have a problem with the installation of Linux on my Raspberry Pi 3 B+. I have installed Raspian on a 8GB SD Card, thanks to Win32 diskimager. But when I turn on my raspberry, I have the colored screen and then a page of code? And it doesn't boot, it stay like this. I tried to reformate the SD Card twice but nothing works.
My alimentation is good (5V, 3000mA), I have the RED LED on, and the GREEN LED flash twice (or three, I don't know if the last flash is a real one it's smaller)

Please can you help me ?!

Which version of Raspian? Full or Lite?
Can you show us the last few lines that you can see? Maybe a photo (upload it to an image hosting site like imgur and post a link here).

There are two reasons for this that I know of

1 Insufficient Power supply.
Beware, many lie to you. It may deliver 5v or it may deliver 3A, but what it doesn't tell you if it delivers 3A AT 5v

2 Old OS
New hardware requires at least an operating system version release no older than the hardware itself.

I would add it could be sat at the command line waiting for the user / password.

Till we see the screen we can guess to our hearts content :)
