[SOLVED] Anyone have 8192eu.ko WiFi driver for Raspian Stretch?

Sun May 19, 2019 12:20 am

I have a TP-Link TL-WN725N USB WiFi adapter that I'd like to use on a Pi Zero.

The instructions involve modifying the kernel which is above my head at this point. If someone has already done this, I'd really appreciate it if they could post the binary.

Thanks in advance.

It turns out that this was a false alarm. Raspian Stretch includes a compatible driver.

I think the problem was signal strength. A Pi Zero W in the same location got enough signal to let me configure. The USB adapter is tiny and probably has a tiny antenna too.

FWIW, this adapter is V3.8.
