Control other than via GPIO

Sat Mar 16, 2019 8:14 pm

I have a 4" touch screen on my Pi connected to all the GPIO pins. I want my Pi to interact with a Micro:BIT, sending and receiving info. The obvious way is via the GPIOs. Is there another way I can make the two talk?

Thank you

Stuart

Depending on what unspecified model of RPi you are using, maybe Bluetooth?

You should find you screen only uses a small number of the pins - often power, spi and a couple of control lines. It’s normally just the header that’s taking up the rest of the pins on the header.

Saying that though, you can use Bluetooth to link the two together.
