Thu Jan 17, 2019 10:38 am

The Raspberry Pi SD card we received with the Raspberry Pi Kit is not preloaded with the project instructions. What do we do now?

OK where did you get the SD card from? As @pcmanbob said:
I suggest you start by reading the plentiful help pages on the raspberrypi.org site. might I recommend

https://projects.raspberrypi.org/en/pro ... setting-up

https://projects.raspberrypi.org/en/pro ... y-pi-using

https://www.raspberrypi.org/learning/pa ... /physical/

https://projects.raspberrypi.org/en/pro ... -computing

this will help you get set up and introduce you to the pi gpio and how to connect switches and LED's to it.

OLPC?? one laptop per child? or is this a specific project your pi is intended for?

I'm not sure those …ified links do what you expect them to do.

Anyway, OLPC as in One Laptop per Child? If you want to run something like it, looks like you have to install Raspbian and then run the Internet-in-a-Box (IIAB) script.
