Powered Pi Hub hat

Sun Oct 21, 2018 6:57 pm

Hello guys,

I have a RPi3b+ that I'm using to drive my telescope.

It has a number of items that take quite a lot of power, eg an old usb1.1 camera.

I'm getting insufficient voltage messages in dmesg when I connect.

I used to have it connected directly to the main board usb on my desktop and it worked fine, but not with the pi.

Is there a RPi usb hub hat I can get which has an external power supply. Alternatively, what external powered hubs do you recommend.

Thanks

Steve.

What are the specifications on the PSU for your Pi?
