Raspberry pi nas setup wifi without ethernet

Fri Sep 28, 2018 1:15 am

Hi, i want to configure my raspberry pi nas to my wifi network but nas os like openmediavault required router ( ethernet ) for first time setup . Is there any way to setup openmediavault or similar os using wifi without ethernet for the first time . I am not allowed to access the network switch so please suggest some alternative to setup via wifi without ethernet and does AP ISOLATION effects the connectivity of the nas through wifi ?

What file system do you want to use in your NAS?
"Don't come to me with 'issues' for I don't know how to deal with those
Come to me with 'problems' and I'll help you find solutions"

Some people be like:
"Help me! Am drowning! But dont you dare touch me nor come near me!"

The Pi is small. Simply take it to a location where networking is available during installation and setup.
